Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives...

We are a global movement for rights of vulnerable women

Civitas Auxillium Foundation CAF was co-founded in 2021 by Stephen Enada and Elizabeth Duile, who both believe that vulnerability caused by violent conflicts and terrorism should not hinder people, especially women, from living out their potential and achieving their life goals.

Our project’s specific objectives are to:

Our services

  • CAF hinges its programs on the power of capacity building and empowerment.
  • Our Women Empowerment Program (WEP) is designed to help our beneficiaries find their voice, and defeat poverty.
  • CAF, through its WEP, will contribute by working to build the competencies and capacities of its beneficiaries through social and economic empowerment, thereby equipping them with the necessary skills and experience to improve their livelihood, and start and manage their own businesses after they receive funds in the form of cash flow lending or asset financing.

Our purpose

CAF is registered in Nigeria as a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit organization working to address issues of poverty and gender inequality affecting women. CAF programs are uniquely designed to reach families through women who are victims of violent conflicts and terrorism in Nigeria.

These acts are flagrant human rights violations and are barriers to social justice, peace, and economic development. Sadly, Nigeria’s victims of terrorism and violence have not found the assistance they deserve.

CAF is committed to ensuring that victims of violent conflicts are empowered through its WEP, the beneficiaries’ competencies and capacities will be built through social and economic empowerment, thereby equipping them with the necessary skills and experience to improve their livelihood, start and manage their businesses, following provision of funds, either as cash flow lending or asset financing.

Our uniqueness

CAF is a people-focused organization, we exist to serve!

The critical failure of leadership and governance in Nigeria has resulted in gross poverty and unemployment levels among women both in urban and rural communities.

CAF supports and economically empowers women by building their competencies and capacities to participate constructively in development processes through the provision of financial, entrepreneurial, and vocational training, followed by funds or asset transfer to the target beneficiaries.

This will address vulnerabilities, the vicious cycle of poverty and hopelessness which many women and families find impossible to overcome. We are people-centered, and we focus on capacity building and mentorship for the socially and economically disadvantaged.
