CIVITAS AUXILLIUM FOUNDATION PROVIDES MENSTRAUL HYGIENE PRODUCTS TO YOUNG GIRLS

Civitas Auxillium Foundation in collaboration with BHAJ foundation commemorated the menstrual hygiene day with 3 schools present. Over 140 children were in attendance. Dignity and hygiene kits comprising sanitary pads, bathing soaps, tooth brushes and paste were distributed.

The significance of having  boys in attendance cannot be over emphasized. They will be able to support their sisters and friends rather than tease or laugh at time.

They all were empowered to know that menstruation is a normal physiologic process and is not a thing of shame.
